This course will allow you to make stained glass mirrors, trinket boxes and panels.
Stained glass (Leadwork) for beginners
This class provides an introduction to traditional stained glass production techniques and covers both the creative
and practical aspects of leadwork. With a hands-on approach, we focus on the basic skills of cutting glass, fitting
glass to pattern, leading, soldering and the finishing of a stained glass panel.
Copper foil (Tiffany style) for beginners
This class is intended to provide the complete beginner with an opportunity to explore copper foil (Tiffany style) as a
creative medium. Through a series of demonstrations and practical exercises the student will become familiar with the
basic skills of cutting glass, fitting glass to pattern, foiling, soldering and the finishing of a copper foil panel.
No previous experience necessary.
Tools and material for initial project supplied.
Additional materials may be purchased in class if required.
